Frequently Asked Questions

What international formats are supported?

BillToSheet works with invoices from any country. We handle various date formats (DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD), currency symbols, and tax formats (VAT, GST, sales tax).

How are dates formatted in the output?

Dates are exported in ISO format (YYYY-MM-DD) to avoid ambiguity. This works universally and can be reformatted in Excel for your region if needed.

Does the converter handle different tax systems?

Yes, we extract VAT numbers, tax rates, and tax amounts regardless of the tax system. EU VAT, UK VAT, US sales tax, Australian GST, and others are all supported.

What about non-Latin character sets?

Our converter handles UTF-8 encoding and can extract text in various languages. Invoice text in German, French, Spanish, and other languages is preserved in the output.

Are currency symbols preserved?

Yes, currency codes and symbols are extracted and preserved. Multi-currency invoices show each amount with its currency for accurate reconciliation.
